Privacy Policy

Pullbox (“the app”) is a native macOS app for browsing and managing GitHub pull requests. This policy describes how information is handled when you use the app and when you visit this website.

Summary

Information the app processes

When you connect a GitHub account, Pullbox uses your permission to request information from GitHub—for example repositories you choose, open pull requests, reviews, and labels—to show the inbox. That information is processed so the app can function; it is not uploaded to a separate “Pullbox” service for routine operation.

GitHub’s own privacy practices apply to data held by GitHub. See GitHub’s Privacy Statement.

Data stored on your device

Examples of what may be stored locally include:

Data remains under your control. You can sign out of the app to clear the session from the app’s perspective; removing all app data may require deleting the app or using macOS storage settings.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Pullbox may schedule local alerts based on changes detected during sync (for example, review requests or assignments). These alerts are not sent from an online service—they are created on your device. You can change notification permissions in System Settings on your Mac.

Analytics and tracking

Pullbox does not use third-party analytics services for advertising or cross-app tracking. We do not sell your personal information.

This website

This marketing site is static: it is meant to describe the app and provide support links. It does not embed third-party advertising trackers. Your browser may still connect to service providers (for example, whoever hosts this site) as part of delivering the page; those providers may process basic connection information (such as your IP address) according to their own policies.

Children

Pullbox is intended for developers using GitHub and is not directed at children. GitHub’s terms require users to meet GitHub’s age requirements.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or site changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect substantive edits. Continued use of the app or site after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Contact

For privacy questions about Pullbox, contact the developer through the support channel listed on Support or via the App Store listing when available.
